Do I need previous experience with contemporary art to participate?
No. The mediation and training components are explicitly designed to be accessible to participants without prior contact with contemporary cultural circuits — including young people, community participants and educators.
Are activities free of charge?
Public mediation activities and digital resources are free for participants. Training programs may be free or partially supported, depending on the format.
Where do activities take place?
The platform is based in Acarigua-Araure, Portuguesa State, with public-facing digital tools that extend the program's reach to wider Venezuelan audiences.
Can artists outside Venezuela participate?
The program prioritizes Venezuelan contemporary art, including artists with practices shaped by migration and diaspora. Specific opportunities are defined according to each component's design.
How are participants selected?
Selection follows curatorial and pedagogical criteria adapted to each component. The program team responds to all submissions and clarifies criteria during the application process.
How can institutions collaborate?
Cultural institutions, universities and research centers are welcome to propose collaborations. Contact the program team to discuss possible formats.
